First of all let me just say that I don't presume to be an expert, I'm a newbie as all of you are. I had to get my feet wet just like you are doing now. My other posts are just reading material that I started out with that was very helpful to me and so I shared it with you. Now it is my turn to let you know what all that reading was for.
The very first thing you want to do is research and reading. I mean a lot of it because it your money you are making the initial investment with. No matter what route you take there is some type of money involved. For example you are just trying to promote one product at a time, understandably you want to know every detail there is about that product. My suggestion is visit the product website and read everything about the said product. Ask yourself, Do I feel like this product is helpful to me as well as others. Put your self in the consumer spotlight and if this product catches your eye then it just may be a success. Read further and find out about the company, I mean everything there is to read on that website you read it. You may say that this is a waste of time but trust me it all pays off in the end.
Now You have everything in order to start promoting, I'm assuming you've gone through all the other steps of getting started with affiliate marketing, if not this is a link you can refer back to http://www.clickbank.com/help/category/affiliate-help/affiliate-basics/ this is only one as I have stated before that helped me. Now, how are we going to promote it, with our own website, which in turn if you're a newbie can be a real pain in the ass, especially if you're not too computer literate so to speak, or with a blog page which is a little bit easier. Well I tried them both and let me tell you I'm voting for the blog. Now you can get someone else to do your website for you and take all the headaches away but that gets very pricey in the end. Everybody now days have a blog because they are very easy to get started with. That's one point I missed in my research. My fault, No biggie. Anyway, You have your blog or website ready and now it time to ADVERTISE!!
Assuming you already have an Adwords account then set up your key words, make your ad and Voila, your ad should be up and running. I would insist you save everything you do so that you can come back to it for future reference. Or say that you want to promote on your blog, then you should follow your blog help tips for that particular blog. If its still a little confusing by all means ask questions.
Now that your ad is up and running which ever way you chose, what do you do. Well Keep a detailed log of every transaction with that promo because this is your money. Now this is not a real detailed tutorial for bloggers, I have yet to post that. It is in the process of being read over and researched and fine tunes for you.
